Elizabeth S. Care Companion in Colorado Springs, CO 80931

Though I do not have paid experience as a companion, I have worked as a medical assistant and volunteered at an emergency department for years. My favorite part was working with the elderly patients -- Listening to them, talking with them, just keeping them company because a lot of them felt so alone. I really enjoyed showing them that they're still interesting people, their feelings and experiences and interests DO matter. Additionally, I enjoy providing medical education to people of all ages so that they can learn how to better take care of themselves and advocate for themselves.
