In high school I took a program called "Careers with Children" in which we learned about child development. For part of the year I was able to volunteer at a local preschool and went on to babysit for some families whose children attended that same preschool. I did that for a couple years and then went on to become an Au Pair! I traveled to Germany and was a Nanny for a 1-year-old girl. I was her main care provider for one year before returning back to the states. I absolutely love working with children and would love the opportunity to get to know you and your family, to see if we could be a match!
I have also worked in the Activities program of a Dementia Care Facility which provides companionship and fun activities to give your loved ones fulfillment and joy. I was later promoted to the Activities Director in the same facility. I love spending time with children, the elderly, and animals!
