Hello, my name is Betty Kennedy, I have been doing adult care as a sitter for 10 years. I had my own person experience with my mother with Dementia so I understand the difficulties.

As a experience companion care professional I have worked with Dementia and Alzheimers women and men and people who struggled walking but sadly all have deceased but two. My most recent a man with problems walking and beginner stages of dementia I was companion with for 2 years part-time at his home and I still stay in-touch with how he is doing and occasionally keep him company in the facility he is in.

The lady to whom I worked in her home with has Alzheimers but it worsened so she went into an assistant living.
I developed a strong bond with them and we develop a friendship making our time together fun.

My care with my different clients consisted of helping them with lunch, taking them out, being company and conversation for them, keeping them mobile and entertained, watching tv, reading with them, doing walks and I helped the one Alzheimer's lady into the shower, washing and styling her hair. I am a dog person so I will have no problem walking and feeding dogs for clients plus I make sure I always clean behind myself.

As a professional hair stylist for 40 years I am able to help out with my clients hair so they feel pretty and will not need to go to the salon.
My male clients I helped with their exercise program to keep them mobile and strong along with walks.
