Hi I’m my experience as a caregiver started when my mom got very sick in 2004 and been bed bound for the last two years. I have a passion in taking care of patients, especially the elderly since they’re very fragile, have medical problems, needing guidance, companion especially in their twilight years. I’m a registered nurse and have done bedside nursing for almost 30 years. My last caregiving job, my employer was a 93 years old woman. She passed away last Feb of Covid. I worked for her for over 4 years, as her companion, caregiver managing her medical problems and overseeing her medical appointment and talking to her doctors, medications and wound care, meal preparation too.
