Tarek’s Bio
Why do you love being a caregiver?
I love being a caregiver because it allows me to make a real difference in someone’s life every day. Supporting others—whether emotionally, physically, or simply by being present—gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I genuinely enjoy building trust and meaningful relationships with the people I care for, and I find great joy in helping them feel safe, respected, and valued.
What experience do you have?
I have experience working with individuals of different ages and needs, including the elderly, patients recovering from surgery, and those with chronic illnesses or disabilities. In previous roles, I’ve assisted with personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, mobility support, and companionship. I also have experience coordinating with healthcare providers and family members to ensure the best care possible.
What skills and training do you have?
I’m trained in basic life support (BLS) and first aid, and I have experience with patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and using medical equipment like walkers or oxygen tanks. I’m also trained in infection control and safe lifting techniques. My strong communication, patience, and empathy help me build rapport easily and respond to individual needs effectively. I'm organized, dependable, and always attentive to both physical and emotional well-being.
