Hello,
My name is Lesley. I have lived in San Clemente for 30 years. Raised my kids here, owned and operated a local store and volunteered for many years in this community. I have worked in the care business for more than 5 years. Caring for special needs, disabilities and elder. I would love to find a long term position. My previous positions were caring for elder, handling daily needs such as;
Transfers (out of bed, into bed, toilet, shower)
Hygiene care (showers, hair, skin care, finger nails, assistance with brushing teeth, transfers to toilet, all diaper, briefs and pad care and much more)
Meal prep, nutrition, feeding
Medications (keeping record, orders, pick ups, scheduled times for taking pills)
Doctor appts (keeping record, scheduling, managing transport, and assisting to appointments)
Blood pressure
Diabetes
Dementia
Stroke
Foley catheters
Wound care
Dysphasia
Hospice assistance
I work well with many medical groups that I have come to know.
Companionship (help with feelings of loneliness, vulnerability and boredom)
