I am a semi-retired business development consultant who's spent the last 7 years "care-taking" for my parents who passed away well into their 90's . . . in my father's case, just as the Covid crisis was emerging in 2020. In fact, he seemed to "pass away" from little more than the Pandemic isolation required by family and friends at a nursing home who helped fill the last years of a full and overflowing life. As their primary caretaker, all of that was new and sacred ground for me . . . even apart from how it changed, deepened, and enriched my own life. The pandemic, of course, also impacted and changed everyone's lives, even that of our very world. As such, my business development and consulting work suffered, changed, and become less important to me. SO, I have been exploring ways to return to CA consistent with a new sense of "calling" and direction. That's an exalted way to think about a job, of course, but I came "of age" at Stanford in the mid-'70s and nothing short of such an "exalted" experience even seems possible, without mentioning the various blessings that come with the passing of one's parents, the last of that entire generation in my family. In short, and without any professional "training or certifications," I think I might just be worthy of your consideration and the level of care and caring that you seek in this type of "job" listing.
