Graduated with Honours on the Dean's list, with a 4.0 GPA and and the class President to lead the first class program's festival at KPU University, Hi my name is Trina and I am a Recreation Therapist. I graduated in Therapeutic Recreation - specializing in the field of Gerontology. I worked in several senior care and assisted living homes and brain Injury care homes for 8 years. I facilitate and plan activities such as Bingo, Brain games, board games, baking and cookingz arts and crafts, spa days, birthday parties, music entertainment, exercises, gardening etc. I worked with older and younger residents who has Alzheimer's and Dementia, stroke, COPD, Parkinson's disease, MS, Huntington Disease, etc. I was also a care companion for 3 years for a young adult with Autism. I have CPR/First Aide, WHMIS, Food Safe, Vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19 and a Non-smoker. I have experiences driving clients to and from leisure activities. And additional to my trainings I completed various health care courses in work shops.
