I have experience caring for my grandmother who was diagnosed with alzheimer's and later a brain tumor. When I began she was just starting to forget little things i.e. leaving the stove on, food in the oven ect. I lived with her and took her to run errands like groceries, Dr appointments out to lunches with her friends and church. We played cards, watched wheel of fortune and all her shows together. I also helped her participate in her lady's group events such as bake sales and sewing circles. In the end she was totally bed ridden and had to be dressed and bathed and often thought that I was my mother.
All prices are negotiable as I realize individual needs are different according to the person and their needs and desires. I'm also willing to do overnights and extended time care. Live in is also a possibility. As mentioned all rates depend upon the extent of care required.
I am not prejudice with color or religion and am willing to attend any church functions as desired.
I can also cook and follow all dietary needs and restrictions.
I'm also aware of the importance of social interactions and am willing to take the person out to malls, museums, parks and whatever is needed including but not limited to parties, funerals, restaurants and group functions.
I adhere to all rules and outlines of the people that arrange for my care.
I am cpr and first aid certified.
