Yanira’s Bio

I was my mom's caregiver for about 10 years until she passed away this year. I helped clean the apartment , attend doctor's appointments with her, pick up her medication and drop off prescriptions, grocery shopping, meal prep, laundry, called the ambulance and make sure everything that they needed was all ready and go with her to the hospital. I also had to remind her of certain medications she needed to take. I would occasionally help with her injection if she was unable to do so.
I was my friends caregiver/care companion for 2 of her major surgeries between 2020 an 2022. I was there to help her walk, make sure she was hydrated. Walked around for a bit. Remind her of her medication. Light meal that was allowed for her to eat. Help her dress and attend her doctor appointment.
