I am a compassionate and hard-working retired special education teacher. I worked for the Los Angeles school district for 11 years and acted as both a Master and Mentor teacher for the Northridge University ACT credentialing program.
Although I don't have any formal training in working with the elderly, I assisted my grandmother for about 10 years. I did her grocery shopping, took her to appointments, kept her company and took her on daily walks. I also provided full-time care for my mom who had metastatic brain cancer.
I am a highly energetic person who has strong conversation skills, a bubbly personality and a positive attitude. I am patient, kind and I work well with others. I am very skilled at managing schedules, keeping things organized and problems solving. My goal is to provide meaningful companionship needed for my clients emotional well-being.
