Hi! I’m a Certified In-home Caregiver and currently registered HCA. I started out in this career with looking after my grandfather whom was diagnosed with Colon cancer 5 years ago. I was always by his side and making sure I was doing everything I could to make sure he was healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually. Wellness and Healing were our two main priorities. Making sure to focus our attention on our foods we were putting in our bodies and getting proper physical exercise as well as meditation/yoga. Main duties of mine included: Assistance with transfers, mobility, meal-prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, PT, exercise, pet care, and natural healing therapy. After two years caring for my grandfather, he had beat his cancer and was back healthy and lively! By the grace of God!
By this time I had already grew a passion for caring for others and seen how my care helped changed the life of my grandfather and wanted to see that happen for other families. I then expanded my experience/knowledge in home care and got hired at an agency in South Bay. That was the best decision I could have made, I learned so much and so quickly. I became certified in caring for clients with dementia, Parkinson’s, and other health conditions. I always make sure to go above and beyond for each client I have, even if that means doing individual research and coming up with the most effective care plan for your older adult. I am a very kind, compassionate, patient, and genuine individual with skills such as organization, punctuality, responsible, trustworthy, and intelligence.
