Hello there, my name is Megan and I am interested in being a care companion for your loved one. I am a licensed certified occupational therapy assistant. I enjoy assisting individuals to improve their independence with various daily tasks we all find very meaningful such as dressing, food prep, medication/appointment reminders, exercise, laundry, etc. In the past, I have been a care companion for a senior who had dementia. I assisted in the home as well as with transitioning to an assisted living facility. I have also gained valuable experience in the health care field with individuals ages 3-90 years old with various diagnoses that created limitations or obstacles in their daily lives. I am currently looking for a change of pace in my professional life where I can focus on one individual and assist with improving their daily life.
