Finding Monica has been a Godsend! We have been having her as a drop in sitter since February. I can’t begin to express how amazing she is as a sitter. While we don’t have her as a primary sitter , she has been available to assist with our drop in sitter needs. She is very communicative, personable , understanding and puts consideration of your needs as a parent first , as she is also a parent herself , which makes working with her a smooth process. I highly recommend her , and would absolutely continue to utilize her services as much as possible ,for as long as possible. Another thing about Monica I also appreciate , is that she is very fair with her rates and does not try to price gouge you like others. Her honestly and dependability is definitely appreciated. 5 stars everytime from our family! ? Thank you again , so much for taking us on!

I have used Monica for over 2 months and she had been amazing to my 3 month old son ...he absolutely loved her and he'd be as happy as a clam when I'd get home from a long day.

The thing with Monica is; she is VERY reliable. She is always on time and actually will be happy to come on days she isn't even scheduled! I had a family emergency and when I texted her, she immediately came over and was very sweet and helpful.

I really do highly suggest Monica...she also will do anything you request of her and does any small house work that you ask of her. I have 2 dogs as well, and she was super nanny and would take care of my dogs and my son all. My son was always changed into comfy clean clothes when I got home. Monica also loves reading to infants/toddlers and is big on helping the little one reach any milestone in the baby or child's life.

late cancellation just an hour before midnight for a 0630 shift, abrasive in the way she speaks, insulting to the size of my home, immediately tried to convince me to let my kids come to her house

Monica watched our daughter (~3yo) after we had arrived from out-of-town to attend a wedding. Monica went above-and-beyond ahead of the babysitting engagement, talking to us on phone to better understand our daughter's needs, proposing activities that they could do together, and even had a follow-up Facetime call so our daughter could meet her ahead of time. For the engagement, Monica brought toys and books for our daughter to play with, and sent updates throughout the evening on how things were progressing (which, unsurprisingly, went very well!). Monica showed a lot of attentiveness to our daughter and understanding her needs; when we're back in California, we would absolutely work with Monica again!

Monica was on time she helped clean up and she took good care of my baby and ran a couple errands. I would recommend her to anyone.

Monica was excellent and took care of my daughter very well while I was away. She was very sweet and attentive. She even suggested activities for my daughter. She did age-appropriate developmental activities. It was extremely easy to communicate with her. My daughter really enjoyed spending time with Monica. I highly recommend Monica and look forward to having her watch my daughter in the future as well.

It was my first time to use Sittercity and to have a babysitter. We were lucky enough to found Monica. Again, I never had a babysitter for my kids and it was always family who watches them. Monica would always send pictures and videos of my boys and keep my updated throughout the day! Communication was awesome! It made me feel so at ease while I was working. My boys were very comfortable with her. She was a tremendous help for me and my family! She was very reliable. Monica G, helped us out several times when we were traveling. It made me wish we lived there permanently so that she could watch our boys all the time. She was simply extraordinary. Not only was she super prompt, communicative and responsible, but our boys (age 2 and 7) absolutely love her, and she also made me and husband feel so at ease knowing that they were in incredible hands with Monica! I don’t post reviews or ratings here often, but I just had to because she was so phenomenal. Thank you, Monica, for taking such good care of our boys and helping our family out!
