Parisa’s Bio
Hello! My name is Parisa. I'm a 27 year old California native with a background in case management (human services), childcare and education, and service work. Essential to the work I do is bringing an understanding of and sensitivity to people with disabilities or chronic health issues.
As a substitute teacher working with every grade from k-5, I worked often in special education classrooms, supporting students with behavioral, academic, and social/emotional delays difficulties.
I was a case manager in a supportive housing building during the first 1.5 years of the pandemic in New York City. I worked on the frontlines to provide essential services to our clients who are immunocompromised. In my role, I also assisted with and supervised the self-administration of daily medication for my clients. Many of my clients who I supported with care coordination and escorts to medical appointments had severe mental illness or another chronic health problem. In my role, I was much like a lifeline or companion to many clients who couldn't identify another source of support in their personal life. I care for clients with dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, diabetes, Huntington's Disease, and other chronic health problems.
For a short period of time, I lived with my grandmother, cooking and doing light house work as well as helping mange her medication.

We were so lucky to have found Parisa as our babysitter/nanny. She's very smart, caring and thoughtful. I love her to pieces!
