Elyssa’s Bio
Hello there! I'm Elyssa, a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student with a passion for supporting the well-being and quality of life for elderly adults. I hold a Bachelor's in Adult Development from UC Davis and have extensive experience working with individuals of all ages.
In addition to my work with adolescents and adults as a therapist. I have also served as a case manager for adults and elderly people with severe mental illness. In this role, I provided transportation to their appointments, assisted them in communicating with their doctors, and handled phone calls on their behalf. I also have experience working with Medicare and Medi-Cal, helping older adults navigate their medical care and understand their health better.
During the school year, I teach cooking classes to elementary school students, using art and play to create connections and facilitate growth. I am currently interning at Monte Vista High School, counseling teenagers, and come with a verified background check and fingerprints, qualifying me to work in various settings.
I am available mornings and afternoons Monday-Friday and am seeking part-time work as a care companion. I am dedicated to offering compassionate support, ensuring a high quality of life for those I work with.
I look forward to the opportunity to support and care for you or your loved one!
