As a care manager at Oakmont my responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living. These activities include assisting residents with personal care such as dressing, mobility, distributing medication, eating, bathing, toileting, and continence care. Working with residents suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia also required monitoring changes in behavior and cognitive function, maintaining open communication between families, staff, and health care professionals regarding residents medical and emotional condition, documenting and reporting any changes in residents health status, and ensuring highest resident safety and well-being.
