Hailey’s Bio
My name is Hailey and I look forward to meeting with you 😊
I have been babysitting since I was maybe 12 years old and helping my babysitters with my brother who has ADHD as long as I can remember. I started watching my brother around age 12 and by 13 my uncle was paying me to watch my cousin. My aunt followed suit. Then the daunting task Of babysitting for other people who I wasn’t so close to…my parents were friends with these people I hardly knew and their baby was only 2… and I was his first sitter!! I was only 16 so it seemed scary at first but once I got there it was just as easy as all the other times I babysat. In fact it was actually easier because the boy was so well behaved!! That day I realized I really enjoyed doing this and it was a good way to make some extra cash. when I turned about 17 or so I actually got a job teaching soccer to kids age 18months-5yrs old. By far the toughest age group in my opinion because that’s the age they try and push every boundary or so it seems anyway. Even though it may have been tough for the other coaches, it was my favorite because they are so sweet and full of questions and so silly at that age. Not to mention having a hyper active brother and a few cousins who were the same made this super easy. Oh and getting not just one of the little ones to listen but all 7 or sometimes 9 kiddo’s to listen at the same time? Well… that was a little tricky… at first but I got the hang of it. I did that for about 2 years or so until the sports complex I had been working at shut down and the company just let us all go because they didn’t have any available positions elsewhere. So after this I actually began working at petco because my love for animals and my moms experience as a dog groomer pushed me in this direction. So I have a lot of background when it comes to the health and safety of your pets as well 😊 I also worked at petco for about 2 years prior to the pandemic and spent everyday caring for pets or giving others information on how to care for their animals.
