Most recently, I work with a family for a family member who suffered a traumatic brain injury. Assist getting her up every morning, fixing meals, supervising dressing and personal hygiene, taking her to various therapy sessions, engaging her with day-to-day activities like trips to the mall, recreational centers, volunteering at St. Mary's Food Service Program, going out for lunch and even a spa day.
In the past I cared for both of my parents as they were terminally ill. I have a 103 year old aunt who has been cared for and pampered and is still going strong. Assisted with friends when their parents needed someone to check in and help with meals, cleaning and staging the medications for daily intake and making sure these medications were taken.
