Hello!
My name is Katie. I have always been a caregiver. It started when I was younger and helped to take care of my Mom who was always sick. At 18, I got married and had my first child. I am now almost 40 with 10 biological children.

I have always had a heart for caring not only for people but elderly people. I feel that generally they are forgotten and that isn't fair. 3 years ago I had the absolute blessing of helping my Husbands best friend care for his elderly Mother. She was a cancer survivor but had so many health issues that remained. I cared for her for almost a full year by taking her to her appointments, cooking with her and keeping her company. Giving her encouragement and care in any way she needed until her final days. Then I sat with her in her Hospital room, getting anything she needed and holding her hand. I realized that helping our elderly community is where my heart is.

Last year my family and I temporarily moved to Washington to be near my Husbands family due to his health issues. Ultimately we ended up moving back to Arizona where I can get support from my family but I do have to work full time now. I currently work at full time at a Children's indoor center - however, I know where my heart is and I would like to find a match and move my focus to a family who needs extra hands and extra love given to their loved one.
