My father has bronchiectasis and is on oxygen all the time. He has a few fractured vertebrae and uses a walker to maintain his balance. He also wears a hearing aide. He requires assistance with meals, nebulizer medication administration, showering and grooming, exercise support. He is able to get around with his walker and can transfer himself. He is very routine oriented and doesn't like to veer from his daily schedule. He is vegetarian and his meals are pre-prepared and usually portion sized out. He is not shy about letting you know what he wants and does not want and how he wants it. He loves to play cards, go for walks, and tell jokes.
