I'm helping a friend find a caregiver for Saturdays and Sundays from 8AM-8PM. Days can be split into 2 shifts if needed. He is 73, had a stroke 15 years ago. He's independent in hygiene, toileting, and dressing. He walks with an ankle brace and cane. He's looking for companion care to drive him in his car, help maintain his schedule, give med prompts, and help with pet care and light chores around the house. He likes to go for drives in his classic car, go to car shows, play chess and video games, watch documentaries, try new restaurants, and spend time with his daughter and grandkids. He has a great sense of humor and loves conversation and telling stories. He has caregivers 7 days/wk, so working as a team with good communication is a must, as is a clean driving record. Must be dependable. Lives SW of Austin, off the 290, about halfway to Dripping Springs. Has a cat and small dog. Pay is through payroll company, taxes withheld.
