- $20.00 per hour
My husband is 60, very able bodied, but has early onset Alzheimer’s in the moderate stage. He needs companion care. I work at home and cannot occupy him all the time while I work. He needs socialization, help with activities that he likes to do (karaoke, circular knitting on a machine, caring for our golden retriever, taking walks in our neighborhood, caring for plants, maybe assisting to make a meal or light cleaning). He can do these things with reminders and assistance. He sometimes might want to go somewhere- he enjoys bowling or going to the store but he does not drive and needs help with paying. He is very active and talkative.
Care Recipient
- Male
- Somewhat receptive to outside help
- Age range: 55 to 64 years old
