0ur mother is an 90 year old senior with Alzheimer’s and dementia who requires overnight care at her house in Mt. Lebanon. This is a spacious, beautiful, clean house. She is docile and open to care. She is hearing impaired and needs assistance walking. She enjoys puzzles, some TV, and written communication.
Saturday 9PM - Sunday 8AM, every other week.
Candidate must have own (not public) transportation, be a non-smoker, speak fluent English, and be reliable and punctual.
Duties include:
Companion/supervision
Meal planning and meal preparation (cooking and baking)*
Laundry
Dishwasher (load and unload)
Light house-keeping
My mother will need assistance with:
Restroom
Dressing
Personal grooming (brushing teeth, fixing hair, etc.)
+First-Aid training and caregiving experience are helpful.
* We do weekly grocery shopping for requested recipe ingredients and care items needed.
