My 81 year old father will be coming home today and on Hospice care. He is paralyzed on his right side due to an aneurism and he is on oxygen full-time. He can still use the bathroom, bedpan or urinal, but prefers using a toilet with assistance. We have a hospital bed and wheelchair supplied by hospice. We purchased bedside toilet, elder at home transfer equipment and a ramp. Hospice will not be there full-time so we are looking for other options for care during the day. We have someone set up temporarily, but that is not sustainable ($$$$).
