Someone to stop by home daily to ensure Mom is safe and has what she needs while she recovers from stroke on 4/21/24; was discharged from short term rehab facility on 5/13/24
Help with light cooking, light housekeeping, light laundry
Stroke did not cause physical issues
Mom able to do all care for herself in terms of getting showered, dressed, make-up, hair style, using toilet
Stroke caused ability to occasionally find right words to speak
Short term memory affected and needs reminders, help with schedule, sometimes needs help using cell phone and TV remote
Has in home PT, OT and speech therapy for next 30 - 60 days
Need to ensure right meds taken each day/niight
Need someone in home to make sure Mom eats well while she builds back strength
May need ride to appointments, but has a car and has always driven herself to shop, to church, medical appts, hair appt, etc.
Family members are with her in evening, overnight and early morning
