Home Aide for Senior Parents to Help With Errands and Tasks
Posted by Amy Z. on 11/9/2024
- $20.00 per hour
Looking for a patient, dependable and friendly home aide to help take my parents, both 78, to run errands, like going to get an haircut, the doctor or grocery shopping, and helping them with light household tasks, which could include laundry, depending on the week. You would be taking them out to do these errands, not doing them for them. They both use a wheelchair or cane when going outside. Experience working with seniors and those in wheelchairs a plus. This would be a once-a-week job for four hours a week, with the possibility for more hours, if needed. Preferred day and time is Thursdays noon to 4, but can work with you. Their home is near West 169th Street and Amsterdam Avenue in Washington Heights. Pay range is $20-25, depending on experience. A background check will be done prior to hiring.
Care Recipient
- Male
- Somewhat receptive to outside help
- Age range: 75 to 84 years old
