My 82-yr old mother, a breast cancer survivor of 12+ years has recently started to slow down a bit. And I am eager to find a polite and patient person who can help me keep my mother mobile, mentally engaged and perhaps the odd drive to/from her work at a voting center.

She's (my mother) lived and worked in New Mexico for well over twenty years, and has a keen fascination with cooking, and French cuisine. She also has been an active member in the Road Runners Miata Car Club for many, many years.

Ideally, I would ask for help checking on my mother once/twice a week for a few hours each visit. I'm happy to discuss and would really like to meet people ASAP.

Knowledge of ensuring meds are taken, she has someone other than her son to speak with, and a visit to a Trader Joe's or another grocery. Some cooking and light housekeeping would also be very helpful.
