We're looking for a bilingual English-Arabic-speaking helper for my parents (both 81, both bilingual). The helper would assist with cooking and meal prep, laundry and light housekeeping (cleaners come once a week to do a full cleaning), little reminders (like putting in hearing aids), and with conversation and companionship.

My parents are lovely people who need some help as they age. They both speak very good English, but my mother is losing her memory, and we think she'd be more engaged by a companion she could speak with in Arabic, her first language (Palestinian or Egyptian dialect).

My parents live with my brother (41), a very sweet guy who has Downs Syndrome. He'll be at his day program during your work hours, coming home just as you're leaving.

We'd like help 3 hrs/day for 2 days/week at first, more possible.

Ideal person is honest, reliable, energetic, friendly, warm, and a good communicator.
