Occasional companionship assistance for my 98 year old grandmother, Sallie. She is currently in an assisted living facility. She lives in her own apartment. The Facility assists with meds, hygiene, meals and light housekeeping. This request is mainly for companionship and socialization; Sallie is experiencing Dementia that is progressing. She is often very confused and disoriented. Her day to day consists of sitting in front of the TV until the facility caregiver comes to transfer her to daily meals. I am looking for someone to communicate and socialize with her. Help her maintain her cognitive skills. Persuade her to participate in activities hosted by the Facility and encourage communication. She is mobile - she walks with a walker. Sometimes, she's more weak that other days. At which times, she has a wheelchair.
