My mom is 69 years old and uses a walker. She is very kind and loves making friends. She has a mental illness that causes her to be confused and anxious at times, but never mean or combative. She lives in a nursing home in Uptown Minneapolis and goes out to a day program 2x per week, church every week or so, and to appointments as needed. We have one primary caregiver who transports her to her regularly scheduled outings but we need backup care to call when this person is sick or unavailable. We also need a second person to travel with her so that both caregivers can take breaks. Pay is $35/hour plus $0.70 per mile for transport with your car (she does not have a car).
