We're seeking in-home respite care and companion care for my elderly father. He is 90 years old and suffering from increasing dementia. My mother is his primary caretaker and needs respite care to run errands. He is able to eat independently, and can dress and groom with help. Primary responsibilities would be talking to him, making sure he feels safe and comfortable when my mom is out, and giving her the respite she needs to shop, run errands, etc. Must be loving and patient, even in the face of dementia.
