We are a Chinese-American family in Watertown seeking a reliable care companion for a female dementia patient. You will be responsible for assisting her with basic daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being.

Primary Responsibilities:
Wellness Checks: Ensure that the patient is healthy and safe. Report any changes or concerns to the family.
Medication Checks: Ensure that medications are taken as prescribed and assist with medication management.
Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and other personal care tasks. Assist patient with removing and cleaning dentures.
Housecleaning: Maintain a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping.
Cooking: Prepare meals for patient.
Additionally, we would like for the companion to accompany the patient on walks to the local grocery store when the weather allows.

We envision the engagement to start initially with 2-3 hour visits on a regular basis with the time commitment changing based on the patient's needs. The ability to speak Cantonese would be a major bonus but is not required.
