Hello- our family is looking for extra help to care for our father. He lived by himself in Shorewood, IL but his children see him often. He, however, is unable to be by himself for long periods of time due to recent falls. We are looking for someone to help and care for him on Mondays and Fridays all day. He has a drop foot which makes it difficult for him to stand up and walk around without assistance. We are looking for someone to help assist with this and help him with the simple tasks like remind him to take his medication, eat lunch and dinner, help him walk to the bathroom, etc. One thing to note, my Dad is a smoking and does have a habit of smoking inside the house. Eventually when it gets warmer outside, we would like him to start smoking out in the garage again but that will require help to get him out there. He also have very thin skin and intends to get cut and bruised easily. Looking for someone that does have background in care for wounds. He is able to use the washroom but every now and then he will have an accident and need help. Please reach out if interested. Thank you!
