Moving mother from assisted living back to her home
Posted by Marianne B. on 11/4/2024
- $15.00 per hour
Brain aphasia from July prompted the family to move her to assisted living but she's very unhappy and wants to be at home. She's ambulatory, showers, dresses, toilets herself. Even does her own laundry and fixes light snacks for herself. But permanent cognitive abilities. Can have conversation but confused, forgetful. Must have car as we sold my mother's car. Person will drive my mother to senior exercise classes in town, shopping, occasional medical appts (although the family will generally take her for doctor's visits). We do not know how to answer the question about hourly rate. I just guessed.
