A client in Hoschton is currently looking for an open-minded and trustworthy Care Companion to provide care and companionship for her grandfather who currently resides in her home. Assistance is needed on an occasional/as-needed basis. An ideal candidate will be friendly, flexible, and willing to chat with the client’s grandfather about the news and current events.

Start date: ASAP
End date: Long term
Schedule:
-Occasional/as-needed (no guaranteed hours)
-Weekdays or weekends
-Morning/afternoon shifts
-3 to 4 hour shifts
-1 to 2 weeks advance notice can typically be provided

Rate: $16/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Engaging companion care
-Mobility support, including helping the client up and down stairs

REQUIREMENTS:
-2+ years paid, professional adult/elder care experience
-Driver’s license + reliable transportation
-CPR & First Aid certified or willing to become certified
-Comfortable with client’s toy poodle in the home
