My Mother Carol has dementia and would like her to have extra support even though she lives in a nice memory care. I would like to have someone be able to keep her company/ help stay organized a few hours a week. I am also interested in someone who can work with dementia patients and help remind her to use her incontinent briefs/pads when needed. Help her walk to bathroom or stand by for safety if she wants to shower. Most likely someone with past CNA/PCT experience would be best.
Help keep her room organized as she will pull her clothing out and personal care items. She may need assistance with laundry. She needs help organizing and I cannot be there every day due to my work schedule.
Times she is not feeling well and is in her room in her facility alone, she can get more confused and depressed, and I may look for someone at these times as well.
