About Us: We are seeking a warm and attentive caregiver to support our 70-year-old mother, a stroke survivor with left-sided weakness, aphasia, vision loss, and some short-term memory challenges. Our goal is to ensure she enjoys fulfilling and stimulating activities.

Job Description: We are looking for a compassionate and proactive caregiver who can provide both support and companionship. The ideal candidate will assist with mobility and help our mother engage in enriching activities such as visiting museums, historic houses, attending talks, sightseeing, and enjoying healthy lunches.

Responsibilities:
- Accompany and assist our mother during outings and activities.
- Provide support with mobility and ensure her safety and comfort.
- Plan and organize enjoyable and stimulating activities tailored to her interests and abilities.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe and respectful manner.

Qualifications:
- Non-smoker and non-vaper.
- Valid driver’s license. We have a car you can use if needed.
- Comfortable and experienced in helping with mobility.
- Experience or background in caregiving, especially with stroke survivors or individuals with similar needs, is preferred.
- Patient, empathetic, and reliable with excellent communication skills.

Schedule:
- Mondays and Tuesdays from approximately 9:30-3:30 (but can be flexible)

  • Age range: 65 to 74 years old
