My mom needs someone who can take her to doctor's appointments, take her on errands and help with things like shopping. At home we need someone who can do house cleaning and laundry and help with sorting medications. Ideally we would have someone come on a regular schedule (1-2 half days a week) and be open to possible other asks (if she has a doctor's appointment on a different day than scheduled, etc.). We can be flexible with setting up the schedule but would love to have a relatively fixed schedule. Person would need to be willing to check in with me (daughter) to provide updates on how things are going. We had someone helping my mom for a few years but unfortunately they just moved so we need to find someone new.
