My 87 yr. old mom lives nearby and independently, but has short-term memory loss. She could use some minimal help, maybe once or twice a week. Companionship, going on walks with her. Also, things like putting medication in pill box (she takes very little), managing her calendar by checking her answering machine/texts for messages and making sure her calendar is up-to-date. Setting up reminders. Maybe some meal prep (very minimal), cleaning out her fridge of food that is out-of-date. She drives, but this could possibly include you driving her and running errands with her. Her home is clean and uncluttered except for a couple of places where she is stacking books and mail, so some organization of that would be helpful.
