Hello,
We are looking for at-home care for our elderly mother who was recently hospitalized. This would be a temporary assignment (minimum of 1 week) for a couple of hours in the morning, five days a week.
Our mom is mobile and can use a walker, so no heavy lifting will be required. No medical care is needed, and our mom is mentally sharp and typically very independent. Medical training is not required, but some medical knowledge is preferred, as well as experience working with elderly patients that are at risk of falls. Job duties would include assistance with getting out of bed, showering, and getting to the bathroom in the morning.
