We are looking for someone to come in three-ish days a week for a few hours a day to just be present with my father who's health is declining as his short term memory is failing.

Specific asks would likely include making sure he gets dressed and eats during your time with him, that he is engaging in general hygiene and that he is taking his medication on a schedule. Due to his decline, his motivation to do much is limited and his joy for life is basically non-existent for the most part. We're hoping a consistency of help around him could help turn this around and give him more drive.

Time could also include engaging him in cross-word puzzles or just general conversation to keep his mind in the practice of engagment in simple ways would be ideal.

Being CPR and First Aid trained would be ideal but is not required at this time.
