My mother is 67 years old & has early stages of Alzheimer's. She is very independent (doesn't need assistance showering, getting dressed, etc), but can no longer drive herself. She loves to get outside, go for walks, garden, hike, etc. we are looking for someone to come to her home, pick her up, & take her on outings a few days a week. My mom loves to socialize & would love to have someone who can chat with her as well as get her out of the house. We would like someone to come 2-3 days a week from 12-4. We need a caregiver who enjoys doing these activities & who is patient & attentive. They would need to watch my mother and supervise her throughout the day. While she does not need assistance doing daily tasks, she cannot be left on her own and will need constant supervision to ensure she doesn't get lost or wander off. We would love someone who is creative and can mix up the weekly activities so she isn't doing the same thing everyday. There is a need for medication mgmt & meal prep.
