There's two types of care we're interested in – standard shifts during a weekend, and possible one-time help with toileting mishaps where, perhaps for a larger hourly rate, someone would be willing to come over, clean up a mess and help my father get a new diaper on. He knows how to get his diaper off and shower by himself. He just can't quite get a new diaper on due to muscle stiffness from Parkinson's. And if he has a toileting mishap where he makes a mess on the floor (very unusual but technically a possibility), we're looking for a go-to person we may be able to call who would be willing to help clean it up while my mom is unable to bend and clean in that way after her knee surgery.
