Hello families! My name is Donaisha, but I go by Dee. I am originally born and raised in California, and have been a resident here in Washington for about 5 years now. I am a mother to a beautiful, sweet, smart, funny, outgoing and friendly 6 year old daughter (Kenya). I call her my assistant as she sometimes has to accompany me to jobs I pick up here. She is the reason I began my nanny journey back in 2017. During the past 6 years I have done pretty much every setting when it comes to childcare! As of right now I am working at early childhood, education school working with children ages 4 months to 6 years. However, will be returning back to campus in early September. I have over 15 years experience working with children - 13 years as a nanny for many families and 2 years as a Montessori teacher assistant for University of Washington Children's Center. I have worked with children of all ages, from newborns as early as 1 month old to teens. I currently live in Federal Way so I am hoping to find a new long term family who lives in the surrounding cities and will need childcare for at least 30-40 hours a week, but am possibly open for short term or part time as well. Hey Families, My name is Raniah and I'm 21 years old. I'm a fourth-year college student at a private University in California and right so currently in the state of CA. I just graduated college a little early with a major and English and minor in Teaching Professions so that I can become an English teacher. I’m back for the fall 2025 semester for my teaching credential so I’m super excited about that. I want to become a teacher because working with kids is something I'm super passionate about and is a job that I know will have an impact. I want my future students to enjoy attending school and being in my classroom because school should be fun and provide good memories. I absolutely love being around kids and working with them at all ages it honestly doesn't matter, all of them are great. I've babysat since I was 16 working with a wide range of ages and I’ve worked at a summer camp for the past 3 years with ages 5-12. Also, with my teaching degree, I do fieldwork so I go to schools and help out in a classroom, so that helps add to my experience working with kids. I'm super good with kids; everyone around me has always told me that. I love working with kids because they are one super fun, two you can learn a lot yourself through working with children, and third knowing that I can make a child's experience in life better and put a smile on their face is honestly the best thing. I do have my license so getting places isn't a problem. I know lots of fun games and ways to keep kids occupied, plus I'm a kid at heart so I enjoy them as well :). I'm super accommodating/flexible and willing to work with you for whatever you may need as long as there is good communication. I do have my license as well so getting places isn't a problem.
