During my first two years at college, I babysat three times a week for 15 hours and attended needs of a 3-month old. I changed diapers, fed milk/solid food, gave baths, and did light housework as well. I even went to their family's vacation in LA and Michigan. Not only did I develop a deep relationship with the parents I worked for, I grew to really love the children as if they are my own siblings. Before then, I gained a lot of experience and wisdom from my mother, who is a full-time nanny at home. I would help and play with children and and went on many field trips with them such as the zoo, swimming pool, extra-curricular activities, and picking them up from school. In addition, I help them with their Korean and English homework and read to them daily. I am constantly surrounded by children whether it be taking care of my one-year old niece at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, back at home, or at church.
