Hello, my wife and I have two kids, ages 4 and 8. We live in North Seattle. Lena works for Fred Hutch Cancer Center and I am juggling a few different entrepreneurial projects. The kids usually get along well (except when they don't) and are fond of arts and crafts and roleplay. Our regular sitter is about to go home to Spain and we need someone new just occasionally so we can see friends, have date nights, or get help when one of us is traveling.
For weeknights it would just be play with the kids and help put them to bed. On weekends there might be something more activity-focused, like visiting a park or swimming. We need something about once every 2 weeks.
