Here's a brief overview of our family: We have a 2.5-year-old girl and a 6-month-old girl. Dad is a firefighter who works 1-2 weekdays on a rotating schedule, meaning his workdays vary each week. However, his schedule is set for the year, so you can plan ahead.

Mom works from home and is available most of the day to assist with feeding the baby and helping the kids settle down for naps or when they get fussy.
