Date Night just watching a 3 year old sleep

Family of three. One 3 year old son named River. Very independent and lively boy that loves math and dancing.
Just need to watch the baby monitor while he sleeps, during our dinner date out. Welcome to watch tv on low volume in living room, but must send hourly texts to let us know everything is okay. May need to soothe him back to sleep if he wakes up.
