Hi—this is not a true “sitter” post. I normally volunteer for my kids' team (Oakton Otters) but our family has had some unforeseen events this summer and I need help covering my volunteer shifts. So I am looking for someone (age 18+) to be a lane timer for two swim meets.

This is a fun, easy poolside job. All the training you need is provided on the spot. (About 10 mins) It does require a lot of standing so wear comfortable shoes along with the volunteer “uniform” of a white t-shirt and navy shorts. The other volunteers are super nice and the kids are enthusiastic and fun.

Date 1: July 15. B Meet at Sully Station pool (Centreville, Va). Arrive by 5:00 pm

Date 2: July 20 Divisional meet at Hunt Valley (Springfield, Va) Lane Timer arrival still TBD but the meet is set to run from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.
